The CSR Team of PFC Group successfully organized an Internal Football Tournament at the Soccer Ground, DIP 1, marking both a CSR initiative and the official start of the Annual Sports Meet 2025, where four teams — Safety, Engineering, Administration, and Store/Logistics — competed with passion and sportsmanship. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Nadim Salameh, Administration Director of PFC Group, who inspired the players with motivating words and a ceremonial first kick, while the matches reflected teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie. After an exciting round of games, the Safety team, led by Captain Mr. Sreerag Soman, triumphed over Store/Logistics in the final with a 2–0 victory, lifting the cup and reinforcing the spirit of unity. Chief Guest Mr. Omar Jelani, Senior Safety Superintendent & Member of Mental Wellbeing, EGA, presented the trophy and emphasized the importance of sports for both physical and mental well-being, while special awards went to Mr. Saeed, Cost Controller, as Best Player, and Mr. Faisal, Logistics Officer, as Best Goalkeeper. The management reiterated that such sporting events are vital not only for competition but also for stress relief, stronger workplace bonds, and a healthier lifestyle, underlining PFC Group’s commitment to employee wellness and positivity. With enthusiastic participation, energetic performances, and shared celebrations, the tournament became a memorable opening to a season of sports, wellness, and togetherness.
